TaxiPro is the complete taxi management system built for independent operators — dispatch, driver app, billing, and fleet tracking in one platform.
TaxiPro replaces the patchwork of spreadsheets, third-party apps, and radio dispatch with a single integrated system built end-to-end for taxi operators.
TaxiPro is live and operational today — and the platform is just getting started. Here's where we're headed.
Whether you're already running independently or ready to break away from a network, TaxiPro gives you the tools to operate on your own terms.
Straight answers to the questions operators ask before leaving a network.
We'll be straight with you: it depends on where your current work comes from. If you already have a solid base of regulars, corporate accounts, or phone bookings — customers who call you directly rather than using the network app — you're well placed to make the switch. TaxiPro handles all the dispatch infrastructure, so your drivers still get jobs efficiently.
If you rely heavily on the network dispatching jobs to you with little of your own book of work, you may see a drop in volume in the short term. That's a real consideration, and we'd rather you go in with eyes open than get an unpleasant surprise.
No. In Victoria and most Australian states, network membership is not a legal requirement to hold a taxi licence or operate a taxi service. Your accreditation is between you and the relevant transport authority — not your network.
You do need to maintain your commercial passenger vehicle (CPV) accreditation, keep your vehicle licensed, and ensure your drivers hold the appropriate authorisations. TaxiPro doesn't change any of that — it simply replaces the network's dispatch and management infrastructure with our own.
TaxiPro's GPS-based meter is currently launching in Victoria, where we are awaiting STV (Safe Transport Victoria) type approval — the formal certification confirming a meter meets the technical standards required for use in licensed taxis.
We're committed to full compliance and will only release the meter for use once approval is granted. Registered operators will be kept updated on timing as we move through the process.
The Android tablet meter doesn't include built-in camera integration — it's focused on metering, dispatch, and navigation. In-cabin and dashcam systems are handled separately, and there are solid third-party options readily available that can be fitted alongside the tablet without any conflict.
For most operators this is simply a matter of sourcing a camera system independently — the same way you'd choose your own EFTPOS terminal or dash mount. It gives you the freedom to pick a solution that suits your vehicles and budget rather than being tied to one.
TaxiPro integrates with third-party payment processors to handle card and digital payments in the vehicle. Cash remains available as an option. Fares — including surcharges and tolls — are automatically calculated and applied through the driver app.
Payment reconciliation is handled through TaxiPro, so you're not manually chasing daily takings. End-of-shift reports give you a clear breakdown of revenue per driver, per job.
TaxiPro supports MPTP (Multi-Purpose Taxi Program) subsidy processing through Cabfare, a dedicated mobile app that handles electronic subsidy and fare payments. Drivers install Cabfare on their phone and use it alongside the TaxiPro tablet meter — so MPTP-eligible passengers can have their subsidy applied seamlessly at the point of payment.
Because Cabfare runs on the driver's phone, it doesn't interfere with the TaxiPro meter on the tablet. The two work side by side without any technical conflict.
TaxiPro doesn't currently support Cabcharge cards or vouchers. Supported payment methods are cash, credit and debit card, and digital payments through integrated payment processing — covering the way the vast majority of passengers pay today.
Direct corporate account billing is something we're actively working on as a future feature. Foundation Fleet members will be first to know when it's available.
Network fees vary but typically combine weekly or monthly membership fees, per-job dispatch fees, and levies — adding up to a significant ongoing cost regardless of how much work the network actually sends you.
TaxiPro is priced simply: $330/month per vehicle and $44/month per user (drivers, dispatchers, and admins). All prices are GST inclusive. No setup fees, no per-job fees, no lock-in contracts.
TaxiPro subscriptions are billed monthly by credit card direct debit on the 1st of each month. You'll be asked to set up your payment details during onboarding — once that's done, billing is fully automatic and you'll receive a tax invoice each month for your records.
Because billing runs on the 1st, your first payment will be pro-rated — so you only pay from the day each device is added.
Once you leave the network, network-dispatched jobs stop — that's the trade-off. What continues to work are the booking channels that are yours: direct phone bookings, your own regulars, corporate accounts you've built relationships with, rank work, and any third-party booking tools you've set up independently. TaxiPro dispatches those jobs to your drivers efficiently once they're in the system.
Operators who do well going independent typically already have a solid book of direct work — customers who call them personally rather than going through the network. If that's you, the switch is straightforward.
Yes — TaxiPro is built for fleet operations, not just single-vehicle owner-drivers. You can manage multiple drivers, multiple vehicles, and multiple shifts from a single dashboard. Each driver logs into the app on their own device, and you see the whole fleet live on the map.
You can set fare configurations, assign vehicles to drivers, monitor individual shift performance, and generate reports per driver or per vehicle. Whether you have 2 cars or 20, the dashboard scales with you.
The process itself isn't complex — but timing and contract terms are what to watch. Most networks require written notice, typically 30 days or more, and some agreements include conditions around equipment return, branding removal, or exit fees.
The practical steps: review your network agreement carefully, give the required notice in writing, arrange removal of any network-supplied equipment from your vehicles, and set up TaxiPro before your exit date so there's no gap in operations.
We know taxis don't only operate 9 to 5. TaxiPro is built to be reliable, but when something does go wrong, you need a real answer fast — not a helpdesk ticket picked up in the morning.
Foundation Fleet members get a dedicated support contact — a real person, not a bot. We're a small, focused team and we take that responsibility seriously. If you're stuck mid-shift, you'll have a direct line to someone who can help.
In Phase 1, TaxiPro's meter runs on an Android tablet — so there's no need to change the physical setup in your vehicle beyond mounting the tablet. Your driver installs the TaxiPro app, logs in at the start of a shift, and they're running. No specialist hardware, no technician required.
Note that the driver companion app — used for job notifications and communication — does run on a phone, so drivers can stay connected without being tied to the tablet.
Any network-supplied equipment — terminals, tablets, or branded hardware — will need to be returned to the network when you exit, as it's typically their property. Your own devices stay with you.
Two components — one per vehicle, one per user. That's it. All prices are GST inclusive.
No long integrations. No waiting for a sales team. Register your interest and we'll have you set up quickly.
We're inviting a limited number of independent operators to join TaxiPro as Foundation Fleet customers. Early access to every phase, preferential pricing, and a direct line to our product team.
